I’m Brendan Pearl — a competitive UK bodybuilder, fitness YouTuber, entrepreneur, husband, and father of three, based in Cambridgeshire.

My journey into bodybuilding wasn’t just about changing my body — it was about rebuilding my life. What began as a passion evolved into a vehicle for structure, discipline, and growth — not just in the gym, but across every area of my life, from business to fatherhood.

I co-own Boxcross UK Gym, Cambridgeshire’s leading private bodybuilding and strength training facility, where we’ve built a results-driven community centred on hard work, accountability, and real progress. I’m also the founder of The Window Medic, an independent window repair and installation business that gave me the freedom to reinvest in what I truly care about — fitness, media, and helping others develop self-belief through structure and discipline.

In 2025, I committed to a full contest-prep transformation, documenting every step — from the toughest training sessions to the most vulnerable mindset struggles. The response was overwhelming: my fitness YouTube channel grew to over one million subscribers, and my story was featured by national media outlets including BBC News and ITV.

But what I’m building now isn’t just about bodybuilding or business — it’s about ownership: of your mindset, your time, your energy, and your potential. This site brings it all together — my story, my content, my businesses, and my mission to redefine what fitness and self-development really mean.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
Discipline builds freedom. Structure creates momentum. With relentless consistency, anything can change.

This was at my most depleted state of prep from June this year. Flat but fairly lean. Looking forward to pushing past this condition wise next time with more size.

At the time, I remember looking at this thinking:

“You don’t even look like a bodybuilder… not even close. More suited to men's physique"

Prep messes with your head. You’re tired, flat, and hyper-critical of yourself.

Looking back now, I still know I need a lot more muscle…
but the foundation is there to build on.

Most of us are guilty of obsessing over scale weight — I know I have been.
You don’t have to scroll far down my page to see me glorifying being 264lbs.
At the time, I was blind to the fact I was carrying too much body fat.

I’m not saying I won’t get back there again, but when I do, it’ll be as a much leaner version of that weight.

This just proves: what really matters is what that weight is made of — and what you’re made of while carrying it.

Week 5 of health phase update. Weight jumped up post holiday to around 225lbs. Weight steadily coming back down 223.6lbs in this mornings check in. Aim is to get weight back around 217-220 before the offseason properly starts. Despite being in the phase all lifts progressing and breaking PB's that were set in offseason. It's amazing how much food and nutrition can drive performance. Feeling fresh, appetite is sky high and sleep is back to where it should be @jake_bowentraining 👊

Moving forward.

I’m now working with @jake_bowentraining, someone whose standards, structure, experience, and clarity align perfectly with where I want to go next.

This phase is about progressing with precision, building momentum, and keeping my head exactly where it needs to be.

After 21 months of solid work and valuable experience with Ben, I’m grateful for what that chapter gave me — and now it’s time for the next one

There’ve been a lot of those over the years. I kept this photo because I liked how I looked in it. It became a reference point… something I kept telling myself I’d get back to.

Fast forward to September 2023 — I decided it wasn’t going to be another spell.
It was time to finish what I started when I was 18.

Now here we are — 2025 - Age 36, on the right — and I’m finally doing it properly.

3 weeks into my health phase. Weight is hovering around 217lbs. Will be running blood work in a few weeks to see where I am. No rush to get back on at the moment. This is all about getting in the best possible position for the most productive offseason I have ever had. Very exited to see what can be achieved over the next 12 months with total tunnel vision.

2011 ➡️ 2025
14 years between these photos. Same pose — very different person.

In 2011, I stepped away from bodybuilding to raise a family and build a future. I didn’t know when (or if) I’d ever be able to return.

In September 2023, I made a quiet decision: get back into a solid routine and see what was still possible.

Less than 2 years later, I stepped back on stage — more conditioned, fuller, and 29 lbs heavier.
This wasn’t about chasing a number. It was about the look, the standard, and proving something to myself — and to my family.

To my kids: Dad didn’t give up.
To anyone watching: It’s never too late to start again, and do it better.

This is the comeback.
And it’s just the beginning.
